3 acre pond and cabin site
The Pike County, IL 165 is a beautiful farm. Situated in the rolling bluffs in the heart of famous Pike County, this place has it all. You pull in off the hardtop road and pop up to an amazing 3 acre pond.
The pond has a flat cabin location with power already ran. Check out our Phase 3 video where we spent a day electrofishing the pond to take a survey. The pond is loaded with a healthy population of blue gill, crappie and large mouth bass.
Increasing bow range opportunities
The farm has three wood lots, each one has been enhanced for holding power. We built killer funnels during the timber project in each woodlot and got stands hung in those locations.
Trail systems loop through the farm providing access and guide deer through these funnels. Check out the Phase 2 video to see us build one of these pinches. Beans were planted and we have a one year, custom farm contract in place.
Scent free box blinds were placed at two green food plot locations. One food plot is located in a saddle of the tillable field where deer are likely to cross, the other is located where a primary ridge extends to the creek bottom below.
