I purchased a farm from the Whitetail Group in the spring of 2023. This was my third farm and my first Whitetail Group farm. I walked the property and noticed significant logging work had been done. If you know anything about habitat, you’ll appreciate the benefits of opening the canopy. While this removed some of the hardwood value, it laid the foundation for the rest of the improvements that would have to be made. This is both costly and time consuming to do on your own. Upon closing, Bobby and I jumped on a Zoom call. He walked me through his vision for the property as we looked at aerial imagery of the farm. His strategy was sound and aligned with my own hunting philosophy. I would not have come up with a plan like Bobby’s on my own. This was a huge value add and gave me a list of projects to complete over the next few months to prepare for deer season. Some of the improvements would take effect immediately such as adding fencing to certain areas. Other improvements like establishing switchgrass would take 2 seasons to make an impact. October came and I was able to harvest a fantastic buck. My personal best and a deer most hunters would consider a buck of a lifetime. The Whitetail Group pre and post purchase experience is unrivaled. I highly recommend doing business with this group.
