Developing Fifth Iowa Hunting Farm With Lee Lakosky
In June 2022 we purchased 220 acres, our fifth farm developed with Lee Lakosky in southern Iowa.
Like the four other farms this one is raw. It has never really been a great hunting farm. We converted CRP into 20+ acres tillable for income and a destination food source. Several coves next to the tillable are staging, green to grain food plots.
The most impressive part of the farm are four hidden fields surrounded by thick timber. During the rut, these food plots highly concentrate doe scent. Having an Iowa giant cruise by within bow range is a matter of when, not if!
